Villa Homes

Our new luxurious villa homes, connected to gracious new clubhouse, offer one- and two-bedroom accommodations that feature many amenities for your safety and convenience. Careful thought and planning has gone into the design of the floor plans, choices of carpeting, placement of fixtures and appliances, and each of the services offered. Care has been taken to put your current needs at heart, as well as your needs for the future.

For ease and convenience, your washer and dryer are just off the kitchen. Weekly housekeeping ensures your home will always be bright and clean. Everything you need is right at your fingertips allowing you to remain independent yet pampered!

The floor plans range from 900 to 1,200 square feet, and allow the spacious feeling of a home where you can choose to entertain or just relax and enjoy the view.

Each appliance such as dishwasher, microwave, stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer are all full size and maintained by our staff. Help is just a phone call away. No longer will you have to wait for a repair man to show up or write a check for the service. It's all taken care of.

Each villa home has inside access through a beautiful main lobby, with easy access to the elevator if needed, or directly to the parking lots or the many walkways that surround the building. All services including your mailbox are under one roof. You will no longer have to brave the elements to pick up your mail, go to dinner or meet friends for cocktails.

Alzheimer's Care

Because caring for a person with memory loss and cognitive dysfunction is difficult, we have created a unique living arrangement providing warmth, support, and the highest level of care performed by nurturing caregivers specially trained in Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias. With private accommodations, an enclosed courtyard, pleasurable dining experiences, and specialized daily activities, loved ones can rest assured that these cherished residents will receive all the personal care and attention to help them achieve a sense of acceptance and validation.

Life isn't just about being alive it's about really living. As we age it's especially important that we not lose our strength and ability to do everyday tasks and the activities we enjoy. Fortunately, everyone can improve his or her health and independence by increasing physical activity.

At Osprey Village, we've initiated an all-encompassing Wellness Program to assist you in improving your quality of life through better cardiovascular function, increased strength and flexibility, better balance and overall fitness. Our Wellness Program will inspire you to have fun and be more active, make it easier to perform daily activities, improve your health and lower your risk for disease and disability. Our person-centered approach considers the "whole" person, and is designed to maintain and improve member's current levels of physical, mental, social and spiritual wellness.

Monthly Wellness Schedules display a variety of classes and activities. You'll enjoy the opportunity to participate in Line Dancing, Chair Yoga, Pilates, Core and more; Aqua Twinges and Hinges, Making Waves, Senior Circuit, and many others! Join your friends and neighbors for these fun and motivating classes that work to keep your body and mind fit. Enjoy the post class snack and learn what else is going on with our Wellness Program through timely lectures and lunch and learns.

Classes are taught by our Wellness Coordinator who is certified and trained to deliver high quality instruction and guidance to assist you in achieving your personal fitness goals. It's almost like having your own personal trainer! The Wellness Coordinator is there also to tailor individual exercises based on your needs while teaching you how to properly use the aerobic and cardiovascular fitness equipment. At Osprey Village, we are here to assist you and make sure you get the quality of life you want and deserve!

A further benefit of the Wellness Program is our association with the J. Paul Sticht Center on Aging, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. This partnership offers our members new tools for health assessments, dietary programs based on healthy weight management in older adults and successful exercise programs - all leading to more choices to support independence while aging. In keeping with the philosophy of "Live Long, Live Well, Live," this affiliation will help to develop new research that will further enrich the lives of our members and seniors throughout the world.

For those in assisted living, our Wellness Program includes medication management such as assistance with administering oral, topical, and drop medications, nebulizer treatments and subcutaneous injections to include insulin and vitamin B12 within the scope of practice under the guidance of a licensed nurse.
