At Abingdon, we've initiated an all-encompassing Wellness Program to assist you in improving your quality of life through better cardiovascular function, increased strength and flexibility, better balance and overall fitness. Our Wellness Program will inspire you to have fun and be more active, make it easier to perform daily activities, improve your health and lower your risk for disease and disability. Our person-centered approach considers the "whole" person, and is designed to maintain and improve member's current levels of physical, mental, social and spiritual wellness.

Monthly Wellness Schedules display a variety of classes and activities. You'll enjoy the opportunity to participate in Line Dancing, Chair Yoga, Pilates, Core and more; Aqua Twinges and Hinges, Making Waves, Senior Circuit, and many others! Join your friends and neighbors for these fun and motivating classes that work to keep your body and mind fit. Enjoy the post class snack and learn what else is going on with our Wellness Program through timely lectures and lunch and learns.

Classes are taught by our Wellness Coordinator who is certified and trained to deliver high quality instruction and guidance to assist you in achieving your personal fitness goals. It's almost like having your own personal trainer! The Wellness Coordinator is there also to tailor individual exercises based on your needs while teaching you how to properly use the aerobic and cardiovascular fitness equipment.
