      (A) Among the many senior living retirement options available, Independent Living provides the most freedom versus any other type of Senior Living Communties. Independent and Living for seniors refers to residence in an easy-to-maintain, private apartment or home like environment within a community of elderly seniors. Generally 55 and older, senior housing arrangements may be classified as Independent Living Communities. Common terms for independent living communities are Retirement Communities, Active Adult Communities, Senior Rental Communities, Retirement Homes, Senior Housing Communities or Senior Apartments. Just as the name implies, Independent Living offers the ability for a senior residence to maintain a lifestyle without custodial or medical assistance.
