Brain Matters Research

Mark Brody, MD is a nationally recognized expert in Alzheimer's management and research. Dr. Brody is a principal investigator in national clinical studies seeking to treat or prevent Alzheimer's. He is in private practice and specializes in memory disorders; stroke prevention, treatment and rehabilitation; and headache.

New Treatments Mean New Hope

Dr. Brody is participating in numerous clinical studies seeking to treat or prevent Alzheimer's, offering patient’s access to the most advanced medical research. Several promising new treatments are being investigated, including:

* Vaccine Therapy

* Monoclonal antibodies

* Enzymes that cut brain proteins at smaller lengths so they are unable to form amyloid plaques

* New medications


Dr. Mark Brody is President of Brain Matters Research and Medical Director of The Memory Program at Bethesda Memorial Hospital. He is a nationally recognized expert in Alzheimer's disease management and research. Dr. Brody is the Principal Investigator in numerous national clinical studies seeking to prevent Alzheimer's. He is in private practice and specializes in memory disorders and stroke prevention.

Dr. David Watson is a leading Certified Principal Investigator specializing in Alzheimer's disease. He is a neuropsychologist that has conducted over 200 clinical research trials on Alzheimer's disease over the past 15 years testing new investigatory compounds. His research has contributed significantly to the approval of four existing medications currently on the market for symptomatic treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
