As mandated by the Older Americans Act, Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) have responsibility for development of planning for all aging issues in their respective Planning and Service Area. Agencies established under federal law, the Older Americans Act (OAA) to respond to the needs of Americans aged 60 and over in every local community. Generally, these organizations are non-profit organizations that offer state and federal program for seniors and their caregivers. AAA develop comprehensive and coordinated base system of care to ensure the safety of the elderly with the goal of keeping seniors living independently in their own homes.
